THE MINUTES
The small-town council of Big Cherry meets for its weekly public session, ready to discuss the usual mundane topics like a fountain restoration and a parking issue, but something is off in the room, and it's not the stale donuts.
When newcomer Mr. Peel asks to see the minutes from the previous meeting—specifically regarding the sudden, disappearance of a beloved councilman—the others scramble to stonewall him with escalating absurdity, transforming a sleepy civic duty into a masterclass in bureaucratic deflection and historical calamity.
As the truth threatens to surface, the meeting devolves into a hilarious and chilling demonstration of just how far people will go to protect their secrets and maintain the status quo, proving that sometimes the biggest cover-ups happen in the smallest towns.

On Valentine’s Day, 2025, Monroe Players dinner theatre presented the delightful musical
“I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change.”

At Turner Hall, Monroe, WI
This production was a wonderfully funny and moving exploration of love and relationships, making it an ideal choice for couples looking to celebrate their affection or friends seeking a memorable night out. The theatre went all out to create a romantic atmosphere, complete with Valentine’s-themed decorations that set the mood for an enchanting evening.
In addition to the captivating performance, patrons were be treated to a delicious Italian dinner, and each table was elegantly set to enhance the dining experience, ensuring that guests felt special throughout the evening.
